What is microblading?
A hand-stroke technique that deposits pigment into the skin in fine, hair-like lines — designed to look like your own brow hair, only fuller and more defined.

Microblading uses a manual hand tool tipped with tiny needles to draw individual, hair-like strokes into the upper layers of the skin — rather than the single moving needle a tattoo machine uses. Each stroke is placed by hand, following the natural direction of your existing brow hair, which is what gives microbladed brows their soft, feathered look rather than a solid, painted-on shape.
It's considered semi-permanent rather than permanent, because the pigment sits in a shallower layer of skin than a traditional tattoo and fades gradually over time.
Best suited for normal-to-dry skin.
Microblading tends to work best for people with thin, sparse, or over-tweezed brows who want a natural, hair-stroke look rather than a soft powdered fill. It holds its crisp lines best on normal-to-dry skin — very oily skin can cause the fine strokes to blur or fade faster, which is why an ombré or combo brow is often recommended instead for oilier skin types.
